What is the rosary?

The Rosary is a traditional Catholic prayer that helps people meditate on the life of Jesus Christ and the Blessed virgin. It was first given to Saint Dominic de Guzman as a spiritual weapon by the Blessed Virgin in the 13th century to combat the Albigensian heretics. The Rosary was intended to become a spiritual tool to teach the faith so people could reflect on the life of Christ easily, just by picking up a set of beads.
